Series
5 (1963) According to Peter Tatchell and other sources,
a decision was made to switch the context from a
service comedy to one about running a television
station. Same cast and crew, just different setting.
After ten
episodes, it was judged a failure and in mid-season, the
program was switched back to its original premise. Thus
episodes 5-1 through 5-10 are TV Lark, and episodes 5-11
through 5-16 are Navy Lark. Several but not all
compilers
number the TV Lark episodes as part of the Navy Lark
sequence and that is done here.
NOTE: This is a different situation from those of
Embassy Lark and Big Business Lake, which used different
casts.
